“Ambiente de Teatro“

“Ambiente de Teatro” is a pilot project which originated like the project “Water 4 Schools” at the water workshop in Sinai. The workshop was launched on the occasion of the 6th Dialogue on Science of the Academia Engelberg Foundation in the year 2007.

The project is aimed at spreading the experience gathered during a stay among Bedouins. In different countries, role plays shall help to find approaches to solutions and raise the awareness of the population.

The project “Ambiente de Teatro” took place in Cartagena de Indias, Columbia, in late summer 2009 with the support of the Academia Engelberg Foundation. Theatre students developed a play which broached the issue of local challenges in water management and tackled possible solutions to foster active participation.
