Rethinking our Energy Future

Fifth Dialogue on Science,
9th to 11th October 2006 in Engelberg

Academia Engelberg is devoting this year's conference to the subject of "Rethinking our Energy Future". The fact that this issue is becoming increasingly important is reflected not least in the numerous articles published in the national and international media.

In the same week as the Academia Engelberg conference, the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH), as a partner of Academia Engelberg is holding a symposium on "Research Frontiers in Energy Science and Technology" at the ETH on 11-13 October together with the International Latsis Foundation (for more information, see www.esc.ethz.ch/latsis). The energy week from 9 to 13 October 2006 will thus see the organization and coordination of two important and complementary congresses in Switzerland on the „energy of the future„.
