Dialogue on Science

The Foundation chose Engelberg as its conference centre. In this unique high-lying valley, surrounded by fantastic, impressive mountains, in the vicinity of this magnificent monastery with its 1000 years of culture, humanism and religion, we can create a place of trust for dialogue.

Only in this way will rifts be overcome with bridges – whether they be between science and the man in the street, or within science itself, or between the first and the second or the third world – and above all they need to be two-way bridges.

This conference of knowledge should not only inspire thematic discussions and present proposals for solutions. The Foundation also attaches importance to sufficient space being provided for the renewing old contacts or establishing new ones.
