Effective Partnership

In the year 2003, Academia Engelberg could establish a close partnership with ETH Zurich. ETH is represented in the Foundation Council by the two professors Felicitas Pauss and Ulrich W. Suter.

Since the fourth Dialogue on Science (2005), we have been actively collaborating on projects with ETH Sustainability. This collaboration was extended and gave rise to the ETH start-up ACTIS GmbH in 2010.

Thanks to these two partnerships, synergies can be used and programs can be assessed and carried out together. The first joint project “Latin America Forest Policy Research and Influence Project” was launched in 2006 and was brought to a successful end in 2008. In the meantime, additional courses and projects have taken place.
