Helen Leumann-Würsch

Member of the Swiss Upper Chamber,

After her commercial education and further training in bookkeeping and accounting, Helen Leumann (*1943) spent time in Geneva, Oxford and Rome to learn the local languages.

She then spent 16 years working in bookkeeping and accounts her parents’ company.

Since 1989 she has been head of the department responsible for “People and the company” Collano AG.

From 1983 to 1995 she was member of the cantonal great council of Canton Lucerne. In 1995 she was elected to Switzerland’s Upper Chamber. Helen Leumann is a member of the Business Auditing Committee (GPK), Vice-President of the Business Auditing Delegation, member of the Committees for Economics and Taxes (WAK) and the Committee for Science, Education and Culture (WBK). She is a member of the FDP parliamentary party.

Helen Leumann is a Member of the Board with Collano AG, Chairwoman of the Board with CKW, Committee Member of the Swiss Employers’ Federation, of the Association of Private Joint-Stock Companies, of the Regional Council of DRS 1, President of the University Association Lucerne and other societies and foundations.
