Peter Meyer

Born in 1941 in Forbach/Rastatt.

Studies in Sociology, German Studies, Philosophy, Economic and Social History in Heidelberg.

1968 Master of Arts in Sociology.

1971 postdoctoral studies in Heidelberg; 1970 - 1980 academic assistant at the chair of Philosophy at the Faculty of Management, Economics and Social Sciences of the University of Augsburg. 1982 habilitation in Augsburg; several substitute professorships.

1991 - 1994 substitute professor for Sociology at the Faculty of Economics, Business Administration and IT at the University of Augsburg where he has been research assistant since 1996.
