Prof. Fritz Gutbrodt

Swiss Re Centre for Global Dialogue

Fritz Gutbrodt is Director of the Swiss Re Centre for Global Dialogue in Rüschlikon and external lecturer at the University Zürich. As director of the centre he is responsible for identifying issues and organizing conferences and workshops on future risks and opportunities in the fields of interest that concern Swiss Re and also for its executive education programmes in the framework of the Group’s Leadership Academy.

He is also Associate Fellow of the Collegium Helveticum, a forum of the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH) and the University of Zürich for dialogue between the sciences. Before joining Swiss Re, he was Associate Professor in the Humanities at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, USA, and also Director of the High Alpine Institute Ftan.
