The Foundation Humanwissenschaftliche Grundlagenforschung is funding research linking the human foundations of the sciences, the interdisciplinary discussion of those human attitudes and aspirations that should be reinforced by a science and technology increasingly dominated world.

The Academia Engelberg Foundation and the Foundation Humanwissenschaftliche Grundlagenforschung are cooperating for the years 2011 to 2015.

The aim of the partnership is to be able to fulfill the purposes of both foundations faster and more comprehensive.
