Food Security and Sustainable Agriculture

YES Alumni Course

From the 24th of November until the 6th of December 2009, 18 members of the international organization Youth Encounter on Sustainability (YES) met in South Africa to discuss the issue of sustainability in the food sector. Young scientists received a comprehensive insight into production, treatment and consumption of food in consideration of local and global sustainability. 

The Academia Engelberg Foundation supported this workshop with the aim to include follow-up projects on sustainability into its program.
